About

Since September First, I have been holding the position of Associate Professor at Paris Cité University, affiliated with the BioSTM Lab and Paris Faculty of Pharmacy. My research seeks to build machine learning models that possess the capacity to approximate the performance of the humain brain in terms of flexibility to changes in environments and tasks. Applications related to genetics, omics analysis, and molecular modeling are of specific interest to me.

By leveraging Optimal Transport Theory, I study methods for Domain Adaptation and Transfer Learning. Optimal transport offers powerful geometrical tools that enable me to model tasks, compute solutions and provide theoretical guarantees for algorithms. In the past, I have worked on semi-supervised learning and diverse facets of distributed unsupervised learning.

Prior to my current appointment, I held the role of Assistant Professor at Sorbonne Paris Nord University. Preceding this, I completed a Ph.D. and a Master's degree in Machine Learning from Sorbonne Paris Nord University. Furthermore, I hold Master's and Bachelor's degrees in Applied Mathematics from Fez Faculty of Science.
